Wisdom from: Al Quran and Hadith

In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful

As salaamualaikum wa rehmatullahi wa barkatuhu

Al Quran

Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "I have no power over any harm or profit to myself except what Allah may will. For every Ummah (a community or a nation), there is a term appointed; when their term comes, neither can they delay it nor can they advance it an hour (or a moment)." (Tafsir Al-Qurtubi).

Say: "Tell me, if His torment should come to you by night or by day, which portion thereof would the Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals) hasten on ?"

Is it then that when it has actually befallen, you will believe in it? What! Now (you believe)? And you used (aforetime) to hasten it on!"

Then it will be said to them who wronged themselves: "Taste you the everlasting torment! Are you recompensed (aught) save what you used to earn?"

And they ask you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) to inform them (saying): "Is it true (i.e. the torment and the establishment of the Hour - the Day of Resurrection) ?" Say: "Yes! By my Lord! It is the very truth! and you cannot escape it!"

And if every person who had wronged (by disbelieving in Allah and by worshipping others besides Allah) possessed all that is on the earth and sought to ransom himself therewith (it will not be accepted), and they would feel in their hearts regret when they see the torment, and they will be judged with justice, and no wrong will be done unto them.

No doubt, surely, all that is in the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah. No doubt, surely, Allah's Promise is true. But most of them know not.

It is He Who gives life, and causes death, and to Him you (all) shall return.

Translation of Surah Yunus, Verses 49-56

Hadith :

Narrated Aisha, the mother of the believers(May Allah have mercy on her) : Allah's Apostle ( صلى الله عليه وسلم) during his illness prayed at his house while sitting whereas some people prayed behind him standing. The Prophet ( صلى الله عليه وسلم) beckoned them to sit down. On completion of the prayer, he said, 'The Imam is to be followed: bow when he bows, raise up your heads (stand erect) when he raises his head and when he says, 'Sami a-l-lahu liman-hamida ' (Allah heard those who sent praises to Him) say then 'Rabbana wa laka-l-hamd' (O our Lord! All the praises are for You), and if he prays sitting then pray sitting."

Sahi bukhari, Book of Call to Prayers (Adhaan), Hadith no.656

-- Prophet Muhammad (Peace n Blessings of Allah be Upon Him) said,"Convey (my teachings) to the people even if it were a single sentence.... .

(Saheeh Bukhaari, Book of Virtues and Merits of the Prophet (pbuh) and his Companions, Hadith Number 667)

Say (O Muhammad ): "O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things.

You make the night to enter into the day, and You make the day to enter into the night (i.e. increase and decrease in the hours of the night and the day during winter and summer), You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give wealth and sustenance to whom You will, without limit (measure or account). (3:26,27)
