Dua for all the oppressed Muslims who live in war zones
Du'a for all the oppressed Muslims who live in war zones.
We must hear their cries for help.
We should think more to their needs.
We have to help them and the least we can do for them is this dua.

Hygiene and Ablution in Islam
The Etiquette of Du'aa (Pray)
These etiquettes are narrated in the Hadith. For reasons of brevity, only the following summary and reference of each Hadith is mentioned instead of the entire Hadith.
To abstain from haraam food, clothing and earnings. (Muslim : Tirmidhi)
To make Duaa with sincerity. In other words, one should firmly believe that nobody but Allah Ta'aala will fulfill his objectives. (Haakim)
One should perform a good deed prior to making the Duaa & he should mention this during the course of the Duaa. For e.g. He should say, O Allah! I had performed so & so deed solely for Your pleasure. O Allah! accept my Duaa due to the barkat of that deed. (Muslim, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud).
To make Duaa whilst one is paak & clean. (Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah, Nasai, Ibn Hibbaan, Mustadrak).
To make wudhu before the Duaa (All six major hadith collections)
To face the Qiblah (All six major hadith collections)
To sit as in the Tashahhud position (Abu Awanah)
To praise Allah Ta'aala at the beginning as well as at the end of Duaa (All six major hadith collections)
To convey Durood upon Rasulullah ( ) at the beginning as well as the end. (Abu Dawud, Musnade-Ahmad)
To spread out both the hands. (Tirmidhi, Mustadrak)
To raise both the hands up to the shoulders (Abu Dawud, Musnade-Ahmad)
To sit with humility and respect. (Muslim, Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud)
To mention ones helplessness and dependence. (Tirmidhi)
To abstain from raising the eyes towards the sky whilst making Duaa (Muslim)
To mention the Asmaal-Husnaa (the names of Allah Ta'aala ) and the sublime qualities Of Allah Ta'aala. (Ibn Hibbaan and Mustadrak)
To abstain from ceremonies rhyming of the Duaa phrases (Bukhari)
To abstain from saying the Duaa in a "sing-song" tone if the Duaa is in a poetic form (Hisn)
One should make Duaa through the medium of the Ambiyaa (alayhimus-salaam) and other Pious servants. (For e.g. He should say. O Allah! Accepts my Duaa through The good offices of these saintly people). (Bukhari, Bazzaar, Haakim)
To make the Duaa in a soft voice (All six major hadith collections on the authority if Abu Musa )
To utter the Duaa phrases transcribed from Rasulullah Sallalahu Alayhi Wasallam because Rasulullah Didn't leave out a single need of the Deen nor of the dunya whilst teaching us how to make Duaa (Abu Dawud/Nasai)
To make a Duaa that encompasses most of the needs of Deen and the dunya. (Abu Dawud)
To make Duaa in favour of oneself first, thereafter ones parents and to include the other Muslims in the Duaa as well (Muslims)
If the Imam is making Duaa, he should not make Duaa for himself only but he should Include all the congregants in the Duaa (Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah)
Abu Dawud (R.A.) Narrates that Rasulullah Said that the Imam who makes Duaa for himself only, has betrayed the people." In other words, the Imam should not Make a Duaa that is restricted to him alone. For e.g. He should not say, "O Allah! cure my son." or "O Allah! Return my lost item." etc. but he should make a Duaa that includes all the congregation for e.g. He may say "O Allah! Forgive us and have mercy upon us."
To make Duaa with firm conviction (for e.g. he should not say: "O Allah! If you wish fulfil so and so task of mine." (All six major hadith collections)
To make Duaa with enthusiasm & yearning. (Ibn Hibbn & Abu Awana).
As far as possible endeavour to bring about a "presence of heart and mind" and cherish a high hope of the Duaa being accepted. (Haakim)
To make Duaa repeatedly. (Bukhari, Muslim)
This repetition should be at least thrice (Abu Dawud)
Note One may repeat the Duaa thrice in none sitting or he may repeat it on three different occasions. The "repetition of the Duaa" can be interpreted in both ways."
To make Duaa earnestly and insistently. (Nasai, Hakim, Abu awanah)
To abstain from making Duaa of severing family ties or other sins. (Muslim, Tirmidhi)
Avoid making Duaas of pre-determined and fixed things (for e.g. woman should not make a duaa of being transformed into a man or a tall person shouldn't make Duaa thus: "O Allah! Make me short ." etc) (Nasai).
Don't Make Duaa for impossible things. (Bukhari)
Don't make a Duaa in which you ask Allah Ta'aala to confine His mercy to yourself Only (Bukhari, Abu Dawud, Nasai, Ibn Majah)
Ask only Allah Ta'aala alone for all your needs. Do not depend upon His creation. (Tirmidhi/Ibn Hibbaan)
The one making the Duaa as well as the person listening to it, both should say Aameen at the end. (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Nasai)
Rub both hands over the face at the termination of the Duaa (Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Hibbaan, Majah, Hakim)
Don't be impatient over the acceptance of Duaas. In other words, don't say: "I've made Duaa repeatedly but to no avail." (Bukhari, Muslim, Abu Dawud, Nasai, Ibn Majah)

The End of the World & the Last Day (Islamic Sunni Salafi perspective)
When Allah Decrees that all living beings should die, He will command the Angel (Israfeel) to blow the Trumpet, so he will give a mighty blast which will terrify all creatures, as a result of which they will swoon and die. Then they will stay like that for as long as Allah Decrees, which is described as 40 without specifying whether that is years, months or days -- Allah Knows best how long it is. Their bodies will decay within this period until there is nothing left but the bone at the base of the coccyx (a round bone at the base of the spine).
Then Allah will send a cloud that will release Rain, and when the water reaches this bone, bodies will grow from it like a plant grows and they will be Recreated from this bone, just as Allah Created them the first time, for He is able to do all things. Then he will blow the Trumpet to signal the Resurrection, and the souls will return to their bodies and will come forth from their graves and hasten to the place of the gathering. We ask Allah for His mercy and kindness.
Muslims must prepare for these decisive moments by hastening to do righteous deeds and keeping away from evil things and bad deeds. If the Prophet (S) i.e. the one who feared Allah most said, "How can I feel at ease when the one who will blow the Trumpet has placed it to his mouth, bent his forehead and inclined his ear, waiting to see when he will be Ordered to blow it?" [At-Tirmidhi, graded Sahih by Shaykh Albani in Al-Silsilah;1079] then what about us who are weak and fall short? We ask Allah to make us among those who will not be grieved by the greatest terror when the Angels will meet them (with the greeting), "This is your Day which you were promised!" (Quran, Al-Anbiya' 21;103).
[Excerpt from Al-Qiyaamah al-Kubra by Shaykh Umar al-Ashqar, 33-42; A'laam al-Sunnah al-Manshoorah, 122]
'Not this world, something more...'
This is a small intro to inshaAllah just expanding our minds to be more reflective and think more profoundly.
Everyone has their own opinion about life, success, etc. Some life coaching sessions can cost up to 5000 dollars per seminar (no joke).
Since most of us dont have anywhere close to that amount of money. Alhamdulilah this is when we can turn to scholars!
These are great words of wisdom by the very famous Pakistani scholar Shaykh Tariq Al Jameel There will be a 2nd part to this video some time after...
Love and mercy of Allah
Muhammad Al-Shareef discusses the ways in which Allah will love us. The Shaykh mentions the Jews and Christians and how they boast the love Allah has for them, yet Allah mentions the anger that Allah has for the Jews and the misguidance the Christians are on, so using this analogy, the Shaykh is asking the muslims to be careful and mindful of their duties, to ensure the love Allah will have for them. The Shaykh also mentions Ibrahim(pbuh).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Assalamu’alaikum Warohmatullohi Wabarakatuhu...
Bismillaahirrohmaanirrohiim ....
So You Want The Mercy Of Allah!
I was speaking to a young man recently and during the conversation I heard him say, "I don't make dua' anymore." I asked him, "Why not?" and he replied, "I made dua' for some things and I never got them so I just gave up!" I asked him if he was happy in his life, he said, "Not really." Then I asked him if he felt he needed the mercy of Allah in his life, and at that he replied very enthusiastically, "Of course I do!"
Now this made me think very deeply about some things in life. Is it right that we (mankind in general) go on expecting things from our Creator while we sit down passively, mostly just observing life and hardly doing anything for anyone else unless it somehow fits in with our scheme of things?
Is it right if you, as an individual, want something from your parents but you're doing and saying things they do not like, going out without their permission, dressing in an unacceptable way, not pulling your weight around the house, and so on, then you just come right out and ask for money, or new clothes, or whatever, and then grumble when they refuse, and perhaps adding how unfair life is and how very unreasonable they are?
Let's look at it another way. Imagine you had someone you called your friend but this person spoke badly about you behind your back, took your stuff without permission, and only came hanging around when he wanted something — then one day he comes to you and asks a big favor. Most likely you would tell him to forget it and simply ignore him if he started complaining.
So we all acknowledge that on the human level life is a matter of give-and-take; it's a matter of rights and responsibilities.
What about your relation with your Creator? Is it right that we enjoy the bounty of this marvelous creation and, even though everything was created for the benefit of man, we go ahead and make use of things for our own benefit and comfort without thinking of others? Is it right to fail to give others their rights and expect our rights, and often fail to take care of the creation that Allah provided for us?
How often do you use things that you know will pollute the environment — the same environment that Allah created for you? Dropping litter, using chemicals, and generally tapping into the wasteful and excessive way of life in the modern world, without really thinking seriously about your responsibility to yourself, those around you, the world, and your Creator.
Then when you get sick because of the polluted and chemical-filled environment, you turn in desperation to the Lord of all asking for help and healing. Then as soon as you are well again, you go back to the old habits of misusing, if not destroying, the environment. How Merciful Allah is! Even though you keep making the same mistakes, even though you misuse yourself, others, and the world around you, He still comes to your aid! He, the Almighty, gives you enough opportunity to change, to see the errors of your ways and to make a fresh start.
Have you ever noticed how your body heals as does the environment? So where is your place in all this? A person can drink alcohol and abuse his body until he gets liver disease — and then blame fate! Likewise a person could neglect the rights of his family and even abuse them when he is in the prime of his life and filled with strength, but when he gets old and is left alone and feeling lonely, he curses life and complains how difficult life is! Do you find that you sometimes do things like this?
Have you ever passed by a river that is polluted and said how awful it is that "mankind" destroys nature? But then haven't you ever tipped chemicals down the sink that end up in the river system, and somewhere along the line, contributed to this awful state of pollution? What I want to say is that you have to be willing to take your responsibilities seriously. The first step is to realize that Allah has called upon mankind to be the caretakers of this world.
Allah the Almighty said: "You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind; you enjoin Al-Maruf ( i.e. Islamic Monotheism and all that Islam has ordained), and forbid Al-Munkar (polytheism, disbelief and all that Islam has forbidden) and you believe in Allah..." (Qur'an 3:110)
You have to understand that the nature of this life is not just to make money and live a comfortable life of ease. You have to be willing to give: to give to those around you, your family and friends and your communities; to participate in the voice of society that calls for justice; to speak out against violations against mankind and the earth. When toxic waste is dumped, what do you do? When logging companies are allowed to destroy one of the last remaining rainforests on earth, what do you do? When people are abused and oppressed, what do you do? If your answer is "nothing." Then you should think again.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Whoever, among you, sees something abominable should rectify it with his hand; and if he has not strength enough to do it, then he should do it with his tongue; and if he has not strength enough to do it, (even) then he should (abhor it) from his heart, and that is the least of Faith. (Muslim)
Allah created us to worship Him, and a part of that worship is to keep within His boundaries — the rules He has provided us with, knowing full well that whatever He has ordered us to keep away from is in fact bad for us.
So imagine a person who is selfish, stubborn, and harsh. He couldn't care less about the effects of dumping his factory's toxic waste into any place convenient (for them). He lives his life trying to make more and more money and gathering up material wealth; he doesn't really care whose head he steps on to get up the social ladder, and basically he doesn't really care about anyone except himself. If such a person prays to the Creator of all-should he expect his dua' to be answered? Listen to what the Prophet (peace be upon him) said about this:
"Allah the Almighty is good and accepts only that which is good. Allah has commanded the Faithful to do that which He commanded the Messengers, and the Almighty has said: "O ye Messengers! Eat of the good things, and do right." And Allah the Almighty has said, "O ye who believe! Eat of the good things wherewith We have provided you." Then he mentioned the case of a man who, having journeyed far, is disheveled and dusty and who spreads out his hands to the sky saying: O Lord! O Lord! While his food is unlawful, his drink unlawful, his clothing unlawful, and he is nourished unlawfully, so how can he be answered?" (Muslim)
What does Allah want from you? Remember He gave you your life, your family and friends, a series of situations, and all the creation around you. Do you think He gave you all this just for fun and games? Or to realize the reality, understand yourself and your role in life, and appreciate your Creator and spread the message of truth wherever you are?
The mercy of Allah is ever present. It is you who must learn how to tap into that mercy and learn to live your life in a way that will make you deserving of that mercy. The same power that controls the universe promises to turn to you if you turn to Him! It's like this because your Creator gave you freedom of choice, so you can try to face life either with His help or without it.

Allah Forgives All Sins
Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
Innal hamdalillah was’salaato was’salaam Alaa Rasoolillah
Manifestation of worship
Du’ah
“Verily, they used to hasten to do good deeds, and they used to make du’ah to Us with hope and fear, and used to humble themselves before Us” Al-Anbiya: 90
Du’ah means ‘to call out, to summon’
Ibnul Qayyim said: “Asking what is of benefit to the person, and asking the removal of what is harming him, or [asking] the repelling of it [before it afflicts him]”
Du’ah is mentioned in many ways in Al-Qur’an, such as:
• Worship [Yunus: 106] “And do not call besides Allah that which will not
harm you nor benefit you…”
• Seeking of aid [2:23] “And call upon your witness besides Allah”
• A request [Ghafir: 60] “And call upon Me, for I will answer your
prayers…”
• A praise [Al-Isra: 110]
• A call [Al-Isra: 52]
• Speech [Yunus: 10]
• A question [2:68]
As worship
“Verily, your Lord has said: “Call upon Me, and I will answer you!’ Those who arrogant to worship Allah will enter Hell, humiliated” Ghafir: 60
Nu’am bin Basheer reports Muhammad S.A.W. as saying: “Du’ah is worship”
Du’ah is a type of worship amongst the greatest acts, and easiest to get close to Allah SWT.
“He is the Hayy, there is no deity except Him. SO make du’ah to Him, to Him is the din” Ghafir: 65
Allah SWT equated du’ah with the entire deen! To the entire concept of worship!
“Say [O Muhammad] ‘I make du’ah only to my Lord, and I associate none as partner along with Him” Al-Jinn: 20
• Making du’ah to anyone besides Allah is Shirk!
• Making du’ah for others is du’ah!
Du’ah in relation to Tawheed
When one makes du’ah it is:
1. Acknowledging that Allah exists
2. that Allah is the true Lord
3. Acknowledging that Allah controls all matters – thus - only Allah can
respond!
4. Acknowledging that Allah SWT is the Nourisher, Sustainer, Creator and
Master of the universe
N.B. Even when a non-muslim makes du’ah he is acknowledging the above – so how is it that his du’ah is responded to? By his acknowledgement of the Ruboobiyyah of Allah SWT his du’ah is answered
• Du’ah necessitates that only Allah SWT – Who responds to the du’ah –
should be worshipped
• Du’ah obligates that Allah has the Most Perfect Names and Attributes.
E.g. Only Allah SWT can hear whispering pleas, on matter where
& only Allah SWT can understand the situation a person is in. Allah
SWT Knowledge is all encompassing, and similarly it is only Allah SWT
who can grant something or prevent something from reaching the
servant.
Prophet (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: “Du'aa (supplication) is worship”[Sunan Abu Dawood v.1, no.1474]
Then Muhammad S.A.W. recited the verse: ““And your Lord said: 'Invoke Me, and I will respond to your (Du'aa). Verily, those who scorn My worship (i.e. do not supplicate to Me and do not believe in My Oneness) they will surely enter Hell in humiliation!” [(40): 60]
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) encouraged the Muslims to always invoke Allah in supplications, he said: “No Muslim will perform a Du'aa that neither entails a sin, not cutting the relations of the womb, but Allah will give him (or her) one of three: He will either give him what he asks for sooner, or He will keep it for him for the Last Life, or He will avert harm that is equal in proportion from touching him.” They (the companions (radhiallahu anhu)) said: “We will then perform it much.” He (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: “Allah is even more (Gracious, Generous, Kind etc.).” [Al-Mishkat]
He (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) also said: “Allah is shy and Most Gracious, He is shy that the slave raises his hands unto Him (in Du'aa) and then return them empty.” [Saheeh al-Jami]
Point of thought and note:
The Messenger of Allah (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said: “Ask Allah in Du'aa while certain of deliverance, and know that Allah does not accept Du’aa from an un-attentive, heedless heart.” [Saheeh al-Jami]
What is the reality of your heart, at any and every given time from wake to sleep, from day to day, from month to month?
Some points of note regarding supplicating to other than Allah SWT
“Whoever dies while supplicating to other than Allah as a rival [to him] will enter Hell Fire” Bukhari
(It will be said): "This is because, when Allah Alone was invoked (called upon, sought after) you disbelieved, but when partners were joined to Him, you believed! So the judgment is only with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great!" It is He, Who shows you His Ayat and sends down (rain with which grows) provision for you from the sky. And none remembers but those who turn (to Allah) in obedience and in repentance. So, call you (O Muhammad and the believers) upon (or invoke) Allah making (your) worship pure for Him (Alone). However much the disbelievers may hate (it).” 40: 12-14
And who is more astray than one who calls (invokes) besides Allah, such as will not answer him till the Day of Resurrection, and who are (even) unaware of their calls (invocations) to them? And when mankind are gathered (on the Day of Resurrection), they (false deities) will become enemies for them and will deny their worshipping. 46: 5-6
He merges the night into the day, and He merges the day into the night. And He has subjected the sun and the moon, each runs its course for a term appointed. Such is Allah your Lord; His is the kingdom. And those, whom you invoke or call upon instead of Him, own not even a Qitmir (the thin membrane over the date¬stone). If you invoke (or call upon) them, they hear not your call, and if (in case) they were to hear, they could not grant it (your request) to you. And on the Day of Resurrection, they will disown your worshipping them. And none can inform you (O Muhammad) like Him Who is the All ¬Knower (of each and everything). 35: 13 – 14
A SMALL CONCLUDING NOTE, A BIT OF THE TOPIC, YET RELATED:
It is often asked: WHO ARE THE AWLIYAA OF ALLAH?
Allaah has mentioned the signs by which His close friends or awliya’ may be known. They are: faith (eemaan) and piety (taqwa). Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):
“No doubt! Verily, the Awliyaa’ of Allaah, no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve. Those who believed, and used to fear Allaah much (by abstaining from evil deeds and sins and by doing righteous deeds)”[Yoonus 10:62-63]
Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “All Muslims should measure the deeds of those who are claimed to be awliya’ by that which is in the Qur’aan and Sunnah. If they are in accordance with the Qur’aan and Sunnah, then we hope that he is one of the awliya’ or close friends of Allaah, but if they go against the Qur’aan and Sunnah, then he is not one of the awliya’ of Allaah. Allaah has mentioned in His Book the fair standards by which His awliya’ may be known”
So a person is the the awliyya of Allah to the extent and degree of his firmness upon the eemaan as upheld by Muhammad S.A.W. and the extent and degree of Taqwa, and this matter of being or not being an awliyaa can only be judged by the persons actions, against The Qur’an and the Authentic Sunnah of Muhammad S.A.W. Just as the level of eemaan and taqwa of anyone cannot be known, then so too, one cannot say so and so is an awliyaa of Allah [in the affirmative] but rather one can say that one hopes that so and so is an awliyaa of Allah SWT due to his righteous deeds commonly known from him.
The mercy of Allah
Mercy
"Say: O My servants who have transgressed against their own souls, despair not of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Surah az-Zumar 39:53)
Hadith: Narrated Abdullah ibn Amr ibn al-'As:
The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: The Compassionate One has mercy on those who are merciful. If you show mercy to those who are on the earth, He Who is in the heaven will show mercy to you.
Quran: And say (O Muhammad SAW): "My Lord! Forgive and have mercy, for You are the Best of those who show mercy!"
Al-Mumenoon 23:118
The Night Journey & Ascension of Muhammad PBUH
what a great and short story abt grave..must view
BISMILLH IR REHMAN IR RAHEEM
On the Prophet Muhammad's (sul Allahu alayhi wassalaam) Night Journey to Jerusalem:
The Prophet (sul Allahu alayhi wassalaam) smelled a very nice odor. He asked Jibril about this pleasant scent and Jibril informed him this good smell was coming from the grave of the woman whose duty used to be to comb Pharaoh's daughter's hair.
This woman was a good, pious believer. One day, as she was combing Pharaoh's daughter's hair, the comb fell from her hand. At this she said, "Bismillah." Pharaoh's daughter asked her, "Do you have a god other than my father?" The woman said, "Yes. My Lord and the Lord of your father is Allah." Pharaoh's daughter told her father what had happened. Pharaoh demanded this woman blaspheme and leave Islam, but she refused. At that, Pharaoh threatened to kill her children.
He brought a great pot of water and built a great fire under it. When the water boiled, Pharaoh brought her children and started to drop them into that pot one after the other. Throughout all this, the woman remained steadfast to Islam, even when Pharaoh reached her youngest child--a little boy still breast feeding--but she felt pity for him. At that, Allah enabled this child to speak. He said to his mother, "O Mother, be patient. The torture of the Hereafter is far more severe than the torture of this life, and do not be reluctant, because you are right."
At this the woman requested Pharaoh collect her bones and the bones of her children and bury them in the same grave. Pharaoh promised her that--then dropped her into that boiling water. She died as a martyr.
The good odor the Prophet (sul Allahu alayhi wassalaam) smelled coming from her grave is an indication of her high status.
[May Allah make us like these people.]

Islam and The Media-lecture by sheikh Khalid Yasin
lecture by sheikh Khalid Yasin
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
..The illegitimate regimes in the Muslim world continue their slavery to
Western governments despite their continued abuse of Islam. They have
done nothing in the face of the anti-Islam propaganda by Western
governments.
These corrupt criminals - whether dictators or democrats - whether professing to be custodians of Islam or secularism - were silent when the offensive cartoons attacking Allah's beloved Messenger (saw) were printed and circulated on the Internet. They did nothing during the attacks upon the Qur'an made by Geert Wilders from Holland or when the Quran was desecrated by US troops in Guantanamo Bay. Their silence continues to this day while European governments ban the Muslim woman's dress and minarets in their countries.
The Muslim world now desperately needs a leadership that will stand for Islam, defend the Qur'an and the Messenger of Allah (saw) from slanders and insults, and work to end the continued colonization and occupation of the Muslim lands.
These Muslim rulers who are put in place by the colonial western powers, mainly the U.S. and Britain, operate in a manner so that this great Ummah of Muhammad (saw) remains under the tyranny and injustice of the western-imported man-made system.
The root of the problem does not lie solely with the corrupt rulers but in the system which they are adhering to – the western-imported man-made system. This system, which the rulers implement, is designed only to care for the ruling elite ...and its entourage. Throughout the world, a select elite hoards the world's important resources, depriving billions of people of their basic needs, leaving them to hunger, thirst and homelessness. In the Muslim lands the system might be disguised with selective rules in order to appear Islamic. But when these few rules are stripped away there is no question that the systems implemented are far from what RasulAllah (saw) implemented and the Khulafaa’ (Caliphs) upheld.
We need muslim media..the unreliability of mainstream media are corrupt
pro israel...the West has many stereotypes and misconceptions about Islam that are due to the media, prejudice, and ignorance. Islam is often looked upon as a "extremist...", "terrorist", or "fundamental" religion. Many people hate Islam and do not want to acknowledge its true teachings. In many cases, the media’s reports about Islam are incorrect due to ignorance.
The Islamic world is poorly represented in the West in terms of press and media coverage.A negative image of Islam is becoming more inherent in the Western culture from inaccurate media coverage. The media helps to make an image of Islam to... unsuspecting audiences. The Western public often is misinformed about Muslims through the images on television, motion picture screens, magazines, radios, and comic strips in newspapers, which promote strong messages among their ..audiences. the Western media usually identifies Islam in Muslim conflicts. The media hardly points other religions out in their conflicts. With the Western media’s spotlight and some Western governmental attitudes, the West is a place where Islam is a name of negativity. The Western media has contributed a great deal to this negative image of Islam. Sometimes the media seems to be biased against Islam. When the media distorts the image of Islam, the general public tend to believe it, because the media is a major source of information that the public gets about Islam.
Today, there is no one to shield the Muslims from attack and as a result, the Prophet (saw) is viciously attacked while the Muslims continue to be defeated. What shield do we need? The Prophet (saw) said:
“Indeed, the Imam is a shield, behind whom the Muslims fight and protect themselves.”
[Muslim]
The obligation of the Khilafah is not something that belongs to any one group; it is an obligation upon the entire Ummah. Therefore, we must all strive to work as the Prophet (saw) did: to establish Islamic rule in the society. We must work as a group as the Prophet (saw) and the Sahabah (ra) did in Makkah and culture ourselves with the Islamic culture in order to attain the Islamic personality, interact with the society and seek nusrah (support) from the people of power and influence. This effort is the only effort that will enable us to protect the Book of Allah (swt), the Messenger of Allah’s (saw) honour, and the lives of the believers.
May Allah (swt) re-establish the Khilafah in the Muslim lands so that we can protect His Glorious Book, His beloved Messenger (saw) and the believers. Ameen.
“They wish to extinguish the Light of Allah with their mouths, and Allah would not allow but that His Light to be perfected, even though the disbelievers may detest it.”

Marriage In Islam ~ By Imam Anwar Al-Awlaki
This is a lecture about marriage. Subhan'Allaah these days for a muslims it is simply a mission to get married.
If one asks a person for marriage the family will ask about their job or their income not about deen.
Then there is the issue of parents making it hard on their children to marry.

Marriage in Islam is recommended as a religious requirement.
"Marry those among you who are single and (marry) your slaves, male and female, that are righteous" (Quran 24:32)
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) declared:
"When the servant of Allah marries, he has fulfilled half the (responsibilities laid on him by the) faith; so let him be God conscious with respect to the other half". (Mishkat)
Marriage has also been commended as the way of the prophets.
"We indeed sent messengers before you (O Muhammad), and We assigned them wives and children". (Quran 13:38)
Marriage, in fact, is specifically considered the tradition (sunnah) of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) when he declared:
"Marriage is my Sunnah, whoever disregards my (sunnah) path is not from among us". (ibn Majah)
Islam discourages celibacy and encourages marriage, as Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) recommended:
"Whoever is able to marry, should marry". (Bukhari)
The Prophet peace be upon him said, "If someone whose faith and morals you trust makes a proposal of marriage to you then marry him, otherwise there will be trials and much corruption in the land."
As Muslims it is also our duty to support our brothers and sisters to get married because Allah says in the Quran, "And help to get married those among you who are single or the virtuous ones of your slaves, males or females. If they are in poverty Allah will give them means out of His grace. For Allah encompasses all and knows all things." (Al-Noor 24:32)

The fervour of the whole campaign left many bewildered, not completely sure why the Muslim population framed the event as "an attack" on an important personality of the faith. This video aims to bring clarity around the issue, giving you a crystal clear glimpse of the Muslim psyche, clarifying why this event was deciphered by Muslims as akin to being an attack on their identity. The purpose of this video is thus to aid as a deterrent for any future campaigns surrounding this topic.
