Have YOU betrayed the Prophet Muhammad (saw) - State of the Ummah

A deep reminder about our situation, when the kuffar come out and insult the messenger of Allah (s.a.w), and we remain silent.

Tariq bin Ashyam (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Whenever a man entered the fold of Islam, the Prophet (PBUH) would show him how to perform Salat and then direct him to supplicate: "Allahumm-aghfir li, warhamni, wa-hdini, wa `afini, warzuqni (O Allah! Forgive me, have mercy on me, guide me, guard me against harm and provide me with sustenance and salvation).'''[Muslim].

Proof of The People of Lut Destroyed by Allah!

The people of Sodom and Gomorrah, the twin cities which Lut was sent to with Allah's message, transgressed consciously against the bounds of God. However the names of Sodom and Gomorrah are not explicitly mentioned in the Qur'an. Their avarice led to inhospitality and robbery, which in turn led to the humiliation of strangers by mistreatment and rape. It was their abominable sin of homosexuality which was seen as symptomatic of their attitudes,[14][15] and upon Lut's exhorting them to abandon their transgression against Allah, they ridiculed him[16], threatening with dire consequences;[15][17][18] Lut only prayed to Allah to be saved from doing as they did.[19] With reference to this event an Arabic expression for homosexuals is derived from the name for the people of Lot or Lut (in Arabic);

Then Angels in the disguise of handsome young boys came to Lut, who became distressed knowing the character of the people, and feeling himself powerless to protect the visitors; he said: "This is a distressful day."[20] When the people - overjoyed at the news of new young boys in the village - came to snatch them away from Lut[21], he tried to convince them to refrain from practicing their lusts on the visitors, and offered his own daughters to them in return for the boys' free release[22][23], but they were unrelenting and replied "we have no need of your daughters: indeed you know quite well what we want!"[24] The Qur'an remarks "... they moved blindly in the frenzy of approaching death".

Lut was powerless to protect the boys, but they revealed to him that they were indeed angels sent by Allah to punish the people for their transgressions. They advised Lut to leave the place during the night and not look back, informing him that his wife would be left behind on account of her sinful nature[26] and that they "...were about to bring down upon the folk of this township a fury from the sky because they are evil-doers". Keeping his faith in Allah, Lut left his home and the cities during the night.

When morning came[29][30], Allah 'turned the cities upside down, and rained down on them brimstones hard as baked clay, spread, layer on layer'[31][32][33] putting an end to the lives of the people and describing it as "So taste ye My Wrath and My Warning!" in the Qur'an.[34] The Qur'an refers to the sites of Sodom and Gomorrah as 'signs for those who understand by example', those who 'care to understand' and those who 'fear a grievous penalty or a painful doom'.[35][36][37] The Qur'an also uses the story as an example stating "And most surely you pass by them (the cities) by the day, and at night; do you not then understand?"[38]

Ibrahim’s Reversion Story!!!

The daughter of Christian priests coming to Islam

Former Pastor, Missionary, and Professor in Divinity Choose Islam

.
.
Khadijah 'Sue' Watson - Former pastor, missionary, professor. Master's degree in Divinity "What happened to you !" .....
This was usually the first reaction I encountered when my former classmates, friends and co-pastors saw me after having embraced Islam.
I suppose I couldn't blame them, I was a highly unlikely the person to change religions.
Formerly, I was a professor, pastor, church planter and missionary.
If anyone was a radical fundamentalist it was I. I had just graduated with my Master's Degree of Divinity from an elite seminary five months before. It was after that time I met a lady who had worked in Saudi Arabia and had embraced Islam.
Of course I asked her about the treatment of women in Islam. I was shocked at her answer, it wasn't what I expected so I proceeded to ask other questions relating to Allah and Muhammad (pbuh).
She informed me that she would take me to the Islamic Center where they would be better able to answer my questions. Being prayed up, meaning-asking Jesus for protection against demon spirits seeing that what we had been taught about Islam is that it is Demonic and Satanic religion.
Having taught Evangelism I was quite shocked at their approach, it was direct and straightforward. No intimidation, no harassment, no psychological manipulation, no subliminal influence! None of this, "let's have a Qur'aanic study in your house", like a counter part of the Bible study.
I couldn't believe it! They gave me some books and told me if I had some questions they were available to answer them in the office. That night I read all of the books they gave. It was the first time I had ever read a book about Islam written by a Muslim, we had studied and read books about Islam only written by Christians. The next day I spent three hours at the office asking questions.
This went on everyday for a week, by which time I had read twelve books and knew why Muslims are the hardest people in the world to convert to Christianity.
Why?
Because there is nothing to offer them!! (In Islam) There is a relationship with Allah, forgiveness of sins, salvation and promise of Eternal Life. Naturally, my first question centered on the deity of Allah. Who is this Allah that the Muslims worship? We had been taught as Christians that this is another god, a false god.
When in fact He is the Omniscient-All Knowing, Omnipotent-All Powerful, and Omnipresent-All Present God. The One and Only without co-partners or co-equal.
It is interesting to note that there were bishops during the first three hundred years of the Church that were teaching as the Muslim beli eves that Jesus (pbuh) was a prophet and teacher!! It was only after the conversion of Emperor Constantine that he was the one to call and introduce the doctrine of the Trinity.
He a convert to Christianity who knew nothing of this religion introduced a paganistic concept that goes back to Babylonian times. Because the space does not permit me to go into detail about the subject insha'Allah, another time.
Only I must point out that the word TRINITY is not found in the Bible in any of its many translation nor is it found in the original Greek or Hebrew languages! My other important question centered on Muhammad (pbuh).
Who is this Muhammad? I found out that Muslims do not pray to him like the Christians pray to Jesus. He is not an intermediary and in fact it is forbidden to pray to him. We ask blessing upon him at the end of our prayer but likewise we ask blessings on Abraham. He is a Prophet and a Messenger, the final and last Prophet. In fact, until now, one thousand four hundred and eighteen years (1,418) later there has been no prophet after him.
His message is for All Mankind as opposed to the message of Jesus or Moses (peace be upon them both) which was sent to the Jews. "Hear O Israel" But the message is the same message of Allah. "The Lord Your God is One God and you shall have no other gods before Me."(Mark 12:29).
Because prayer was a very important part of my Christian life I was both interested and curious to know what the Muslims were praying. As Christians we were as ignorant on this aspect of Muslim belief as on the other aspects.
We thought and were taught, that the Muslims were bowing down to the Ka'bah (in Mecca), that that was there god and center point of this false deity. Again, I was shocked to learn that the manner of prayer is prescribed by God, Himself.
The words of the prayer are one of praise and exaltation. The approach to prayer (ablution or washing) in cleanliness is under the direction of Allah. He is a Holy God and it is not for us to approach Him in an arbitrary manner but only reasonable that He should tell us how we should approach Him. At the end of that week after having spent eight (8) years of formal theological studies I knew cognitively (head knowledge) that Islam was true. But I did not embrace Islam at that time because I did not believe it in my heart. I continued to pray, to read the Bible, to attend lectures at the Islamic Center.
I was in earnest asking and seeking God's direction. It is not easy to change your religion. I did not want to loose my salvation if there was salvation to loose. I continued to be shocked and amazed at what I was learning because it was not what I was taught that Islam believed.
In my Master's level, the professor I had was respected as an authority on Islam yet his teaching and that of Christianity in general is full of Misunderstanding. He and many Christians like him are sincere but they are sincerely wrong.
Two months later after having once again prayed seeking God's direction, I felt something drop into my being! I sat up, and it was the first time I was to use the name of Allah, and I said, "Allah, I believe you are the One and Only True God." There was peace that descended upon me and from that day four years ago until now I have never regretted embracing Islam. This decision did not come without trial.
I was fired from my job as I was teaching in two Bible Colleges at that time , ostracized by my former classmates, professors and co-pastors, disowned by my husband's family, misunderstood by my adult children and made a suspicion by my own government. Without the faith that enables man to stand up to Satanic forces I would not have been able to withstand all of this. I am ever so grateful to Allah that I am a Muslim and may I live and die a Muslim. "Truly, my prayer, my service of sacrifice, my life and my death are all for God the Cherisher of the Worlds. No partner has He, this I am commanded. And I am the first of those who bow to Allah in Islam." (Holy Qur'aan 6:162-163)

Muslim demographic growth in Europe

Even though the statistics about the muslim demographic growth are inflated, the video nevertheless shows a trend that everybody can witness for himself.
Further, the entry of Turkey into the European Union would automatically mean the end of Europe as we know it.
It is calculated that the predominantly muslim population of Turkey at the time of accession will be 100 million. A further 100 million turkish speaking peoples from the cental asian republics are entitled to a turkish passaport and citizenship under current turkish law.
Turkey as the EU member state with the biggest population, will have the greatest number of european MPs and commissioners, a fact that will have a huge impact on the balance of power in Europe.
The European Union is calculating that at least 10 million turks will emigrate to Europe after the country's entry in the EU.

Scientific Accuracy of Qur'an Amazes U of T Professor This message is based on an article titled "Highlights of Human embryology in the Qur'an and Haidth" by Dr.Keith Moore, Professor of Anatomy and Chairman of the Department, Faculty of Medicine, at the University of Toronto, 1982.

Dr. Moore points out that the study of how the human embryo develops in the mother's womb could not progress significantly without the use of microscopes. Microscopes were not invented until the 17th century C.E., and were not used in this field of study until the 18th century. Therefore, when Dr. Moore studied certain statements in the Qur'an on this subject, he remarked, " I was amazed at the scientific accuracy of these statements which were made in the 7th century C.E.,"

The Qur'an in 39:6 states that God made us in the wombs of our mothers in stages. Dr. Moore comments: "The realization that the embryo develops in stages in the uterus was not proposed until the1940's, and the stages used nowadays were not adopted worldwide until the 19th century C.E."

Furthermore, he says: "The idea that development results from a genetic plan contained in the chromosomes, of the zygote was not discovered until the end of the 19th century C.E. The verse from the Qur'an [80:18] clearly implies that the nutfa (i.e.
the initial drop of fluid) contains the plan or blueprint for the future characteristics and features of the developing human being."

The Qur'an 23: 12-16 indicates that there is a lag or a gap between two of the early stages of growth. How does that compare with modern scientific knowledge? Remarkably! Says Dr. Moore: "It is well established that there is a lag or a delay in the development of
the embryo during the implantation... The agreement between the lag or gap in development mentioned in the Qur'an and the slow rate of change occurring during the second or third weeks is amazing. These details of human development were not described until about 40 years ago."

Finally, Dr. Moore concludes by saying that the agreement he has found in the Qur'anic statements 'may help to close the gap between science and religion which has existed for so many years."

The above evidence shows that the Qur'an must be from God as it claims. The Qur'an says that you and every human being should consider this book with care: {Had it been from anyone other than God, you would have found much discrepancy in it} [Qur'an 4:82]

Lovely arabic nasheed [Translation with Eng subtitles]

Farshy Al-Turab (with Arabic lyrics and English translation)

Changing our intentions for the sake of Allah.

this video will explain to you how to get rewarded when doing our habits by changing our intentions for the sake of Allah.

Was sent to all of mankind as mercy to the worlds..

Surely We have sent you (Muhammad) with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner; and there is not a people but a warner has gone among them. [35:24]

In the Name of Allah ,and blessings and peace be upon our master the Messenger of Allah, and upon his good and pure family and Companions.

Astaghfirallah… Bismillahi Tawakkaltu al-Allah wala haula wa la quata illa billah..
The Perfect human being...
Muhammad s.a.w ,

The most perfect of human beings with,

Great wisdom,with intelligence,his strong senses,his eloquence,

his dignified movements, his good characteristics, his patience and perseverence

his forgiveness even able to wreak vengeance, his generosity, his modesty, his courage,

his easy going nature ,his willingness to help others, his sincerity in friendship and giving advice,

Muhammad s.a.w with his kindness and compassion to all people,

his humility despite his faith ,his speech, his loyalty and fulfillment of

promises, his humility despite his high status, his dignified way of life,

his trustworthiness, his refusal to beg from others, his sincerity of speech, his dignity, his chivalry,

his ascetism and indifference to worldly gains, his fear of his Lord, his obedience to Him,

his devotion in worship, his gratitude to his Lord turning to Him , his devotion to Him,

his sincere faith, his trust in his Lord, and his living for His sake....,

He combined all the noble characteristics and virtues ,His attitude was the Qur'an , he was pleased with what the Qur'an is pleased with and was angered by that the Qur'an is displeased with.

And it says in the holy Book of Allah concerning Muhammad s.a.w.

"And verily , your Lord will give you (all good) so that you shall be well-please."(Qur'an 93:5)

And Allah says concerning Muhammad s.a.w.:

"Verily , We have given you (O Muhammad s.a.w.) a manifest victory. That Allah may forgive you your sins of the past and the future, and complete His favour on you, and guide you on the Straight Path."(Qur'an 48"1,2)

And it says concerning the Chosen Prophet s.a.w.:

"Have We not opened your breath for you (O Muhammad s.a.w.)?(Qur'an 94:1)

And it says concerning the Pure and Trustworthy One:

"And We shall make easy for you (O Muhammad s.a.w.) the easy way (i.e.the doing of righteous deeds) (Qur'an 87:6)

Muhammad s.a.w the Guide, the Leader of the sons of Adam, spoke to his Lord in heaven:

"He has been taught (this Qur'an )by one mighty in power (Jibril). One free from any defect in body and mind then he (Jibril)- in his real shape as created by Allah) rose and became stable .While he (Jibril) was in the highest part of the horizon, (Tafsir ibn Kathir) then he (Jibril) approached and came close, and was at a distance of two bow's lenght or even nearer. So (Allah ) revealed to His slave (Muhammad s.a.w) through (Jibril as) whatever He revealed . The (Prophet's) heart lied not in what he (Muhammad s.a.w.) saw ."(Qur'an 53:5-11)

And it says concerning the Chosen Prophet s.a.w.

"So wait patiently( O Muhammad s.a.w.)for the Decision of your Lord, for verily, you are under Our Eyes." (Qur'an 52:48)

Muhammad s.a.w

The Trustworthy One was sent to all of mankind, as a mercy to the worlds:

"And We have not sent you (O Muhammad s.a.w.) except as a giver of glad tidings and warner to all mankind. "(Qur'an 34:28)

"It (this Qur'an is only a Reminder for all the 'Alamin (mankind and jinn). And you shall certainly know the truth of it after a while."(Qur'an 38:87-88)

"And We have sent you (O Muhammad s.a.w) not but as a mercy for the 'Alamin (mankind ,jinn and all that exists)" (Qur'an 21:107)

"Say (O Muhammad s.a.w.) "O mankind ! Verily, I am sent to you all as the Messenger of Allah."(Qur'an 7:158)

The Most Compassionate (Al-Ra'uf), the Most Merciful (Al-Rahim) is Allah, may He be exalted , as is mentioned dozens of time in the Qur'an , In surat At-Tawbah, Allah says:

"Verily , there has come unto you a Messenger (Muhammad s.a.w.) from amongst yourselves. It grieves him that you should receive any injury or difficulty. He(Muhammad s.a.w.) is anxious over you; for the believers (he s.a.w. is) full of pity, kind, and merciful."

So Allah has given him two of His beautiful Names, namely Ra'uf(Compassionate) and Rahim (merciful). The life of the Prophet s.a.w. is worthy such an honour, for it was a blessing for the Arab nation and for the entire world:

"Verily, by you (O Muhammad s.a.w.), in their wild intoxication, they were wandering blindly."(Qur'an 15:72)

The way in which the beloved Prophet is addressed in the Book of Allah is :

Ya ayyuhan' Nabi (O Prophet),

Ya ayuyuhar-Rasul (O Messenger),

Ya ayyuhal-muzammil (O you wrapped in garments-cf .Al-Muzzammil 73:1),

Ya ayyuhal Muddathir (O you Muhammad) enveloped (in garments) -cf. Al-Mudathir 74:1).

He is addressed in the most liked terms, whereas the other Prophets are addressed by name only:

O Adam, O Musa, O Nuh, O Dawud, O Zakariyya,O Lot, O Yahya, O 'Isa....The Miracles of the previous Prophets were temporary and came to an end immediately after they happened, so they belong in the past.

But the miracle of Muhammad ibn'Abdullah s.a.w. is lasting and eternal , namely the Qur'an, in which new miraculous aspects will always be discovered. Its miracle is ongoing and Allah has guaranteed to preserve it:

"Verily , We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur'an)and surely , We will guard it (from corruption)."(Qur'an 15:9)

Allah praises the Prophet's character..

"And verily , you (O Muhammad s.a.w.) are on an exalted (standard of) character." (Qur'an 15:9)

"And by The Mercy of Allah ,you dealth with them gently. And had you been severe and harsh-hearted, they would have broken away from about you ; so pass over (their faults), and ask (Allah's) forgiveness for them ; and consult them in the affairs. Then when you have taken a descision, put your trust in Allah, certainly,Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him) (Qur'an 3:159)

"So turn away (O Muhammad s.a.w) from them (Quraish pagans), you are not to blameworthy (as you have conveyed Allah's Messenger)."(Qur'an 51:54)
Surely We have sent you (Muhammad) with the truth as a bearer of good news and a warner; and there is not a people but a warner has gone among them. [35:24] .

The Prophet Mohammed(PBUH)'s Last Sermon*****

Prophet Muhammad's Last Sermon

This sermon was delivered on the Ninth day of Dhul al Hijjah 10 A.H. in the 'Uranah valley of Mount Arafat.

After praising, and thanking God, he said:

"O People, listen well to my words, for I do not know whether, after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and take these words to those who could not be present today.

O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Treat others justly so that no one would be unjust to you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. God has forbidden you to take usury (riba), therefore all riba obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital , however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer inequity. God has judged that there shall be no riba and that all the riba due to `Abbas ibn `Abd al Muttalib shall henceforth be waived.

Every right arising out of homicide in pre-Islamic days is henceforth waived and the first such right that I waive is that arising from the murder of Rabi`ah ibn al Harith ibn `Abd al Muttalib.

O Men, the Unbelievers indulge in tampering with the calendar in order to make permissible that which God forbade, and to forbid that which God has made permissible. With God the months are twelve in number. Four of them are sacred, three of these are successive and one occurs singly between the months of Jumada and Sha`ban. Beware of the devil, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights over your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under God's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Treat your women well and be kind to them, for they are your partners and committed helpers. It is your right and they do not make friends with anyone of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste...

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship God (The One Creator of the Universe), perform your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your financial obligation (zakah) of your wealth. Perform Hajj if you can afford to.

All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.

Remember, one day you will appear before God (The Creator) and you will answer for your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

O People, no prophet or messenger will come after me and no new faith will be born. Reason well, therefore, O People, and understand words which I convey to you. I am leaving you with the Book of God (the Quraan) and my Sunnah (the life style and the behavioral mode of the Prophet), if you follow them you will never go astray.

All those who listen to me shall pass on my words to others and those to others again; and may the last ones understand my words better than those who listen to me directly. Be my witness O God, that I have conveyed your message to your people.

Watch Terry Jones Trying To Burn Koran

http://muslimresponse.com/

While Pastor Jones has called off this campaign, his virulent attacks on Islam have nonetheless created even more confusion regarding Islam and its primary religious text -- the Qur'an (or Koran).

So we decided to take a shot at a satire to educate people about the Qur'an to prevent any further similar initiatives come to fruition. This initiative was extremely inflammatory - spreading misconceptions and divisiveness over a very short period of time. This video attempts to demystify the Qur'an, dispelling some of the myths propagated.

Muslims believe the first word of revelation from Allah to the Prophet Muhammed (peace and blessings upon him) was "Iqra" which literally means "read". In that light we should give the Qur'an the benefit of the doubt, and read it in its entirety in conjunction with its proper exegesis (Tafseer) before jumping the gun.

*FINAL BREATH OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW)*

A brief description of his final day on Earth..One of the most tragic days in history. Please relive this moment & send peace & blessings upon the great Prophet (SAW). It has to do with the passing away of the Prophet (SAW).. One of the most tragic days in history. We waste our time watching fictional movies, fictional characters..but lets reflect of what has happened in reality. The greatest true stories ever told. We cannot even imagine what the people, especially his companions went through on that day. The love they had for him, we cannot compare in todays world. That deep love has faded from this world but will remain forever strong in the hearts of the believers..those who know that they will meet him one day inshAllah. All praise be to Allah (SWT) for sending such a blessed man. May we strive hard to keep this love for Him (SWT) & His prophet strong in our hearts. The Prophet (SAW) is aware of all that is going on in todays world and it saddens him to see how we have drifted away from his message. May Allah (SWT) send peace & blessings upon the Prophet (SAW), his family & his companions. All praise be to Allah SWT.

(Jumuah) Friday is the best day of the week

Is55

The best day of the week
Friday is the best day of the week. Imams Bukhari and Muslim reported that Rasoolillah (SAW) had said,
"We (Muslims) came last and yet we are the first on the day of judgment. They have received the books before us (meaning Torah and Injil). We have received the book after them (meaning the Qur’an). Friday was their day to be glorified. However, they disputed on that while Allah had told us Friday is the day to glorify. Thus they will follow us. The Jews glorify Saturday, and the Christians glorify Sunday."
Also reported by Imam Muslim, Abu Dawud, Al-Nisai, and Al-Tirmidhi, that Rasoolillah (SAW) had said,
"The best day during which the sun have risen is Friday. It is the Day Adam was created. It is the day when Adam entered paradise and also when he was taken out from it. It is also the day on which the day of judgment takes place."
Actions to be undertaken on Fridays
Men are obligated to participate in Friday Prayer. Allah (SWT) said in Surah Al-Jumauah, (verse 9), what can be translated as,
"O you who believe! When the call is proclaimed to Prayer on Friday hasten earnestly to the remembrance of Allah, and leave off business. That is best for you if you but knew."
In addition, Rasoolillah (SAW) had warned from not attending Friday Prayer. Imam Muslim and Ahmad had reported that Rasoolillah (SAW) said about people who do not attend Friday Prayer,
"I wanted to ask a man to lead people in the prayer so that I may go and burn houses of men who did not attend the Friday Prayer with us"
He also said reported by Imam Muslim, Ahmad and Al-Nisai, "Either they (meaning people who do not attend the Friday prayer) stop neglecting Friday prayers or Allah will set a seal on their hearts so they can not find the right path again." In another authentic hadith reported by Abu Dawod, Tirmidhi, Al-Nisai, and Ibn-Majah, that the Prophet (SAW) said,
"Who ever does not attend three Friday prayers, (without a valid excuse) Allah will set a seal on his heart"
It is also recommended to increase supplication especially at the last hour of the day since it is the hour when requests are replied by Allah. In an authentic hadith reported by Imam Al-Nisai, Abu-Dawod, and Al-hakim, that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, "Friday has 12 hours, one of which is the hour where cries are granted for Muslim believers. This hour is sought at the last hour after Asar."
It is encouraged to send salaam upon the Messenger of Allah (SAW) during Fridays and Friday’s night because of an authentic hadith reported by Imam Abu-Dawod, Al-Nisai, and Ibn-Majah, that the Prophet Muhammed (SAW) said,
"The best day is Friday. On Friday Adam was created, and died. On Friday is the first time the trumpet is blown (meaning when every creature dies) and the second time the trumpet is blown (referring to resurrection) . So increase the number of times you wish peace upon me since this prayer will be shown to me."
They asked him, How will our prayers be shown to you after you have vanished. He replied,
"Allah has prohibited earth to cause the body of Prophets to decay."
It is also recommended that Muslims recite Surah Al-Kahf, because of the authentic hadith reported by Imam Al-Baihaqee and Al-Hakim, that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) had said,
"Who ever recites Surah Al-Kahf on Friday, Allah will give him a light to the next Friday."
It is also recommended that Muslims clean and wash themselves and make sure they smell nice when they attend Friday Prayers. Imam Muslim and Bukhari reported that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, "Every Muslim is obligated to wash on Fridays and wear his best cloth. Also, he should use perfume if he has any."
It is important to come early to the Friday prayer. All of the hadith collectors, except Ibn-Majah, reported in an authentic hadith that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said,
"If one washes himself and then went to Friday Prayer, it is considered as if he donated a camel for the sake of Allah. However, If he went in the second hour then it is considered as if he donated a cow and if the third hour then as if he donated a big sheep and if the fourth hour then as if he donated a chicken and if the fifth hour then as if he donated an egg. Then when the Imam starts delivering the speech the angels come and listen to it."
Also in anther authentic hadith reported by Imam Abu-Dawod that the Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said,
"On Friday the angels come to stand on the doors of the mosque (masjid), the angels record who comes first, if the Imam starts delivering the speech, the angles close their files and come to listen to the speech."
It is forbidden to work on Fridays after the call for the prayer was announced because Allah says in Surah Al-Jumu’ah, (verse 9), what can be translated as,
"When the call is proclaimed to prayer on Friday hasten earnestly to the remembrance of Allah, and leave off business."
Also, it is forbidden to talk during the Khutbah. Several sayings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) covers this subject. In an authentic hadith reported by the group of Ahadith collectors except Ibn-Majah, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said,
"If you told your friend to pay attention on Friday while the Imam is delivering the speech then you committed a sin of vain talk."
Another authentic hadith which was reported by Imam Ibn-Majah and Attermizi that Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said,
"Even who touches the gravel on the floor then he committed vain talk, and he who does commit that there will be no (Jumuah) Friday for him."
It is also disliked to walk between sitting people during Friday gathering unless there is an empty spot to fill. In an authentic hadith reported by Imam Abu-Dawod, Al-Nisai, and Ahmad that, A man came and started walking between people during a Friday gathering while Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was delivering his speech, so the Prophet told him, "Sit because you caused harm to other people and came in late."
It was not legislated to consider Friday as a day off and not work during it. Because Allah (SWT) said in Surah Al-Jumu’ah, (verse 10), what can be translated as,
"And when the prayer is finished, then you may disperse through the land and seek of the bounty of Allah." It was not a habit of any of the companions to consider Friday as a day to take off work.
Finally , there are two important matters for us in this country to be cautioned of. First of all, we must not neglect Friday Prayers because of work, study, or other matters. Every Muslims should make attending Friday Prayer as his top priority. It is important to do so since ignoring it three times with no valid reason will cause the heart to be sealed from the right path.
The second matter to watch for is the losing of one’s interest in the importance of Friday. This is especially important for the growing generation who are used to the concept of weekend being Saturday and Sunday and know almost nothing about the importance of Friday in the eyes of Muslims. So it is our duty to remind them and ourselves about this great day which is the best day of the week and try to spend it according to Islamic teaching.
Prophet Muhammad(peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said,
"Whoever calls to guidance will have a reward similar to the reward of the one who follows him, without the reward of either of them being lessened at all."
[Muslim, Ahmad, Aboo Daawood, an-Nasaa'ee, at-Tirmidhee, Ibn Maajah]
May Allah help us in our sincere efforts in following His commandments and the way of His beloved servant Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
May Allah bless you and give you the best reward of all your good works.Jazak Allah Kher …Amen
